LET’S WIN AL AIN FOR JESUS!

WIN – AL AIN 16TH CHURCH ANNIVERSARY MESSAGE

1 Tim 2:8 (NKJV)

I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting

My family and I would like to greet all of you a Blessed 16th Church Anniversary! May the glory of the Risen Christ shine brighter and brighter upon us until the day of His second coming.

It is so sweet to know that our church has been worshipping Jesus for the past sixteen years. Truly God is faithful even in the midst of trials that He is truly able to complete what He has started. Our church has grown with so much blessing that we have become a blessing to other pastors, missionaries and churches as well. The saying “the more you give, the more you receive” is definitely alive and true in our lives as worshipping believers of Jesus in WIN-Al Ain.

The theme that the Lord has impressed on my heart not only for this year but for the next decade is “LET’S WIN AL AIN FOR JESUS!” And the first step to accomplish this great task is by prayer for every district. Our goal for the next 10 years starting this year is to establish prayer zone leaders who are filled and baptized with the Holy Spirit who will then intercede for their individual district. We have begun this move district by district on a monthly basis. We invite all of you to be part of this monthly gathering of believers in your own district or community and let’s begin to WIN AL AIN for JESUS!

Matthew Henry’s commentary on 1 Timothy 2:8 goes like this:

Under the gospel, prayer is not to be confined to any one particular house of prayer, but men must pray every where. We must pray in our closets, pray in our families, pray at our meals, pray when we are on journeys, and pray in the solemn assemblies, whether more public or private. We must pray in charity; without wrath, or malice, or anger at any person. We must pray in faith, without doubting, and without disputing.

The challenge for us today is developing a prayer lifestyle that is evident not only in our homes or church but EVERYWHERE! Our aim is to raise up prayer zone leaders whose task is simply pray in the Spirit always. This is not a glamorous nor easy task. But Jesus encourages us with His words:

Matt 6:6 (NKJV)

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

Not only in our prayer closets but in your workplace, when your travel, when you wash the dishes, etc. Literally, EVERYWHERE! We will saturate the city with prayer for salvation, healing and deliverance. Evangelism will then become easy and a reality if we first pray that the Lord will change the heart of the people of this land whether locals or expats. Our prerogative is not conversion, evangelism is. Conversion is God’s prerogative; our job is simply to intercede that when we share the Gospel, they will be attentive to God’s message of love and hopefully to born again into the Kingdom.

In the next ten years, I foresee daughter churches arising from these prayer zones. This was how the early church started on the day of Pentecost around two thousand years ago. It all started when they gathered in one accord and prayed until the Holy Spirit came like a rushing mighty wind and all of them were baptized and spoke in other tongues

Acts 2:1-4 (NKJV)

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Soon after Peter was Spirit-baptized and preached with power, three thousand souls cried out “Men and brethren, what shall we do?" Acts 2:37 (NKJV). There will come a time that we will not be asking them to accepting Jesus but the unbelievers will be asking us how to be saved. This can only be done if we are all ablazed with the fire of God’s Holy Spirit. I really do believe that God is going to restore the Church not just in its former glory but with greater glory!

Haggai 2:1-9 (NKJV)

In the seventh month, on the twenty-first of the month, the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying: 2 "Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying: 3 'Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? In comparison with it, is this not in your eyes as nothing? 4 Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,' says the Lord; 'and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,' says the Lord, 'and work; for I am with you,' says the Lord of hosts. 5 'According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!' 6 "For thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; 7 and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,' says the Lord of hosts. 8 'The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,' says the Lord of hosts. 9 The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,' says the Lord of hosts. 'And in this place I will give peace,' says the Lord of hosts."

Today we are experiencing wars and earthquakes in rapid frequencies like in the Middle East, Indonesia, Haiti, & Japan. These are the signs that the Lord Jesus told us about the last days. God is shaking the world so that we will come to Jesus, the Desire Of All Nations, and will fill us with His glory, hallelujah! Jesus foretold these signs of the end times in the Gospels:

Matt 24:3-14 (NKJV)

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Jesus is coming soon. We must prepare for His coming. Prayer is the first step if we are to endure during the end times. We are already in the last of the last days. Let us pray that the Gospel will be preached in all the world. But before this worldwide evangelism takes place, there will be a revival of prayer and intercession. God will shake not only the earth but the heavens as well.

Hebrews 12:25-29 (NKJV)

See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, 26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven." 27 Now this, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.

There is a great shakening happening now! Stand firm in His grace alone. Let us prepare the way of the Lord! Let us pray with Holy Ghost power! Let’s WIN AL AIN FOR JESUS! Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!

From my family to yours,

Ps Edward, Sis. Marlene, David John and Sally Joy
